An attractive antique 19th century South Wales oak dresser. The dresser features a simple open rack with three plate shelves and a row of original iron hanging hooks beneath a moulded cornice. The base section has three drawers, each fitted with brass swan neck drop handles, and stands on square supports with a traditional pot board base. The dresser shows lovely colour and patina throughout, with good honest country character typical of Welsh farmhouse furniture of the period. A practical and decorative piece, ideal for a kitchen, dining room or country interior.

In good antique condition overall with age-related wear consistent with use. The base remains structurally solid and sound with expected surface marks, knocks and historic wear. There is historic woodworm to the rack section (as photographed) which has long gone and been treated as a precaution. Overall, a good honest Welsh country dresser with plenty of character.
