An attractive antique 19th century Welsh oak pot board dresser base. The antique oak dresser base features three drawers to the frieze, each fitted with brass swan-neck drop handles. The base stands on square section supports with an open pot board under tier, showing good colour and patina throughout. A good honest country piece with lots of character, ideal as a sideboard, server or hall table

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use commensurate with period. There is surface wear including age-related marks, knocks and historic stains as expected. There is evidence of historic woodworm to some sections (as photographed) which is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. The pot board shows expected wear from use. The drawers run well and the piece remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a charming and characterful Welsh country dresser base.
