A well presented 18th century antique oak mule chest. The antique mule chest has a removable lid that opens up to reveal a spacious interior. The 18th century mule chest has a panelled front and sides, with two fitted drawers to the bottom of the front, each fitted with decorative brass back plates and drop handles. Raised on stile feet. A particularly pleasing and charming example of an antique oak mule chest.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and splits to the top (pictured), also marks and scratches to the sides and front (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak mule chest remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example of its kind.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

  • You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

    We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
