A charming antique Victorian walnut foldover card table. The card table features a foldover swivel top which opens to reveal a storage compartment, ideal for playing cards and other games accessories. When fully opened, the table reveals a traditional green baize playing surface. Beautifully crafted in richly figured walnut, the table is raised on an elegant turned pedestal support with carved detailing, terminating in four shaped cabriole-style legs fitted with castors. A handsome and versatile example.

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use commensurate with its years. There is surface wear in places including light age-related marks, scratches to the top, frame and baize surface. The mechanism operates as intended, opening smoothly to reveal the storage compartment and playing surface. The table remains structurally solid and sound, presenting well with a lovely colour and patina.

  • You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.
