A beautiful antique Victorian pier cabinet, retaining its original glazed door and elegant decorative detailing throughout. The cabinet is embellished with an inlaid frieze across the top, fine string inlay and attractive gilt metal mounts to the front corners, giving it a refined and decorative appearance. The single glazed door opens with the original working lock and key to reveal a papered interior fitted with neutral fabric-lined shelves. A well-proportioned and elegant cabinet.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor indentations, particularly to the top surface as pictured. There are a few small knocks to the moulded edge of the top and light wear to the finish consistent with age and use. The cabinet retains its original glass and remains solid and sound overall.

Our experienced carpenter thoroughly inspects, repairs and restores each item in our collection to ensure it is fully prepared for use in your home. For a clear and accurate understanding of each item’s condition, we ask that you carefully review all provided photos.     We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
