An elegant Victorian mahogany and marble Duchess washstand, featuring a gallery at the back set upon a white demi-lune marble top. The washstand is raised on turned and shaped supports, with a demi-lune under-tier shelf below. The removable marble top allows for easy transport and placement. A well-proportioned, clean example that combines practicality with classic Victorian charm.

In good overall antique condition, showing expected signs of age. The marble top has some surface staining, and the upstand shows gentle fading. The under-tier shelf has some marks and scratches, consistent with period use. Despite these signs of wear, the washstand remains solid, functional, and retains its classic Victorian charm.

Our experienced carpenter thoroughly inspects, repairs, and restores each item in our collection to ensure it is fully prepared for use in your home.

Delivery Information

  • You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.
  • Our delivery service is based on delivery to the property entrance. If you have additional requirements, please contact us.
    We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
