Antique 19th Century Oak Coffer

In good, solid antique condition with considerable age-related wear and character throughout. The top has various old marks, scratches, knocks, indentations and areas of surface wear, together with age-related splits and movement between the boards. There are several deeper old knocks/losses to the top and edges, as pictured.

Further scratches, marks, colour variation and wear throughout the exterior and interior consistent with age and use. Evidence of old repairs and alterations to the underside, along with evidence of historic woodworm – but this has long gone and been treated as a precaution. Despite the cosmetic wear, the coffer remains structurally solid and sound, with the lid opening and closing as it should. Overall a characterful example with a lovely deep oak colour.

Delivery Information

• You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.
• Our delivery service is based on delivery to the property entrance. If you have additional requirements, please contact us.
  We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
