A handsome 20th century mahogany pedestal desk of traditional design, with a rectangular top inset with green leather writing surface finished with gilt tooled borders. Arranged with three frieze drawers above two pedestals, each fitted with three graduated drawers and brass swan neck handles. The sides are finished with decorative moulded panels, with the whole standing on plinth bases. A well-proportioned desk with a rich mahogany colour. The desk separates into three sections for ease of transport.

Good used condition with general age-related wear. The green leather writing surface remains in good condition with no significant staining, with some light surface creasing consistent with use. Various marks, scratches and small knocks to the drawer fronts and edges, as pictured. Overall a handsome and practical piece.
