An attractive and well-presented antique George III mahogany tripod table. The antique mahogany table has a circular solid mahogany top with a moulded edge, which is raised on a turned pedestal with a tripod base terminating in pad feet. The table retains its original tilt-top action, allowing the top to be raised upright when not in use. Excellent colour and patina throughout.

Overall, the table is in good antique condition and remains structurally solid and sturdy. There is a historic crack running across the top, as shown in the photograph and a historic repair to the underside, with age and does not affect the table’s strength or stability. The top also displays the expected age-related marks, surface wear and patina acquired over many years of use, all of which enhance its authentic character and appeal.
