A substantial 20th century oak Welsh dresser rack in the 18th century style, featuring a moulded cornice above a decorative shaped scalloped frieze and three open plate shelves. The rack is flanked by a pair of cupboards, each with a useful drawer beneath and a small display shelf above, providing excellent storage alongside generous display space. Crafted in richly figured oak with a warm, mellow colour and attractive grain throughout, this is an impressive country house piece, ideal for displaying ceramics, glassware and decorative items. The rack can be wall-mounted or paired with a suitable dresser base.

Good overall condition, solid and sturdy throughout. There is age-related wear including surface marks, minor scratches and knocks consistent with everyday use. The oak has a rich, warm patina, and the rack presents well with plenty of character. A handsome and practical storage and display piece.
