A handsome 20th century mahogany extending dining table, featuring an elegant oval top with a finely inlaid satinwood-style string border. The table extends with a central leaf, offering generous dining space while retaining balanced proportions when closed. Raised on twin turned pedestal supports with four swept sabre legs terminating in brass lion’s paw castors, it combines classic Georgian-inspired styling with practical functionality. Finished in a rich mahogany with a warm mellow patina, this is a versatile and attractive dining table suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Good condition overall with minor age-related surface wear including light marks, scratches and occasional small knocks commensurate with use. The top displays well with only very minor signs of use and retains a good colour and finish. There are a few light scuffs to the pedestal legs and some wear to the brass lion’s paw castors, as expected. The extension mechanism operates smoothly and the table is solid, sturdy and ready for use.
