An attractive antique walnut pier cabinet with decorative inlay and brass mounts to top and bottom. The door and front stiles are decorated with fine neoclassical marquetry, including foliated motifs. The cabinet is raised on turned feet and features a single glazed door that opens to reveal two fitted shelves, lined with velvet. The top and feet are ebonised providing a contrasting finish. A refined and elegant example.

In good antique condition with some signs of age. The piece shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There is fading to the front and sides, along with fading to the velvet interior. Working lock and key present. Overall a fine example.
