A substantial 20th century oak dresser base in the 18th century style, fitted with three generous drawers, each retaining decorative brass swan-neck handles, above a shaped apron with a carved central detail and raised on elegant cabriole front legs. Constructed in richly figured oak with a warm, mellow colour and attractive grain throughout, this well-proportioned piece offers excellent storage while serving equally well as a serving table, console or kitchen island. A versatile and characterful piece with timeless country house appeal.

Good overall condition, solid and sturdy throughout. There is age-related wear including surface marks, minor scratches and knocks consistent with everyday use. Some marks and damage to surface of the top of the piece, including an area of wear to the original finish – however, this doesn’t detract from the overall appeal of the piece. The oak has a rich, warm patina, and the dresser displays well with plenty of character.
