The vintage 20th century pine pedestal desk features a rectangular top inset with a brown leather writing surface, detailed with gold gilding. Below the top is an arrangement of nine drawers surrounding a central kneehole, including one double drawer and another fitted with a velvet-lined interior with dividers for stationery. Each drawer is adorned with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The desk is raised on a plinth base with castors for mobility, showcasing a gracefully shaped front and back. It separates into three sections for convenient transport and has been finished with a fresh coat of natural wax, enhancing its rich color and elegant form.
