A lovely set of two bentwood armchairs. The armchairs both have a curved and shaped back with curved arm supports and wide arm tops. One of the chairs has a round seat with a moulded pattern, raised on tapering pole legs with circular supports and the other has a saddle seat, raised on curved supports and out swept legs. Lovely examples with a maker’s mark “Jacob Josef Kohn Wien” under the saddle shaped chair.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the backs, seats and arms of the chairs. There is age related splitting to the arms (pictured) as well as fading. Overall, the two early 20th century bentwood armchairs are in great antique condition.
