A charming primitive style Welsh stick chair with three legs. The primitive style stick chair has been made to a traditional Welsh stick chair design. Although not of great age, this little chair has plenty of charm and character and would make a fantastic decorative piece. Raised on shaped arms and a solid seat. The stick back chair has a stick backrest with the carving “hafod” meaning “summer residence” in Welsh.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is some fading throughout the ash stick chair as well as splitting to the solid seat (pictured), however, the piece remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a great example of a traditional Welsh ash stick chair.
