In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches, dents and marks to the top, sides and interior. The lid has losses to the front left corner, however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. One of the drawers also has minor losses to the bottom left corner. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique mule chest remains structurally intact and functional. Overall, a rather pleasing example of 18th century furniture.
