A handsome set of six 20th-century traditional rush-seat chairs, comprising five chairs and one armchair (carver). The set displays pleasing proportions throughout, with shaped ladder backs, turned legs and stretchers, and gently shaped arms to the carver. All chairs retain their woven rush seats, which add warmth and texture and complement the rich, mid-toned colour of the wood. A practical and characterful set.
