Set of Six Carved Antique Oak Dining Chairs

An attractive harlequin set of six similar carved antique oak dining chairs. Each chair features a carved top rail with barley twist supports to the sides and a carved central splat. Four chairs are fitted with carved solid oak seats, while the remaining two have plain solid oak seats with a slight variation in the splat carving. All are raised on turned legs with barley twist stretchers. Despite the subtle differences, they form a very striking and cohesive set that works beautifully together.

In good antique condition overall with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. The seats show fading, with one seat displaying splitting. There is also some loss to the stretchers, though the chairs remain sturdy and functional.
