A neat set of four early 19th century antique ash and elm Windsor chairs. The antique Windsor chairs have a hoop and stick backrest, with a decorative pierced central splat. In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the seats, back and legs. There is also some fading to the arms and splits to two of the seats. All chairs are structurally strong and solid.. There is some historic woodworm to the backrest of one chair (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been treated as a precaution.
