A good quality set of eight antique mahogany dining chairs by Waring and Gillow. The set consists of two carver armchairs and six standard dining chairs. The chairs each have decorative backrests and drop-in fabric seats. The seats have recently been professionally reupholstered and remain in good, clean order. The chairs are raised on square legs with straight stretcher supports. A good set of chairs by well known makers ‘Waring & Gillow’. Circa 1900.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including minor age-related marks to the wooden frames (pictured). The seats have recently been professionally reupholstered and remain in good, clean condition. There is an honest repair to the backrest of one chair (pictured), however, this does not affect the integrity of the chair. Overall, the chairs remain structurally solid and sound. A good set of chairs by a good, well-respected maker.
