A lovely antique pair of upholstered mahogany balloon back chairs. The chairs have decorative balloon backs with a shaped and carved back bar. The dining chairs have drop-in fabric seats that have recently been professionally reupholstered. The chairs are raised on turned front legs. A rather good set of four Victorian mahogany dining chairs. Raised on castors.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and light scratches throughout. There is also a small split to one of the backs of the chairs (pictured), however, the balloon back chairs remain structurally solid and sound. Lovely example.
