A pair of heavy antique pitch pine church chairs. The chairs each have decorative back rests, shaped open arms, and solid pitch pine seats. The chairs are raised on X shaped bases with a pegged stretcher support.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the seats and backrests. The chairs remain solid and sturdy but there have been some honest repairs to the bases using iron braces (pictured). A good, decorative pair of chairs.
