A stunning pair of antique elm country chairs. The antique country chairs have decorative back rests with carved spindles to the centre. The antique country chairs have solid elm seats, raised on four cylinder legs with straight stretcher supports. An attractive pair, with beautiful colour and patina throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches, marks and splits to the seats (pictured), also fading to the backrest and legs (pictured). There is a minor split to one of the chairs legs at the bottom (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is very minor and is now long gone, and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique country chairs remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a lovely pair of antique chairs.
