Mahogany Pedestal Desk With Leather Top

A well proportioned mahogany pedestal desk with leather top. The pedestal desk has a rectangular shaped top with an inset green leather writing surface. The mahogany desk has an arrangement of eight drawers (one being a double) around the central kneehole, each with brass swan neck drop handles. The antique desk is raised on bracket feet. A particularly pleasing example, with a rich colour and grain throughout. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport.

In good condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the front, back and top (pictured), also stains and further marks and scratches to the leather (pictured). The mahogany pedestal desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. Overall, a good reproduction of an antique desk.
