A classic antique oak base sideboard styled after a Lancashire chest of drawers. This piece includes a rectangular moulded cornice top above three short drawers over four long drawers, each fitted with two brass swan neck drop handles. The sideboard features panelled sides and rests on ogee feet.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and fading to the top, sides and front. There is further shrinkage to the top, however, the Lancashire chest of drawers remains solid and sound. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the surface back (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. A wonderful example of a large antique oak Lancashire chest of drawers.
