Antique Georgian Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table

An attractive antique Georgian mahogany fold over tea table. The tea table has a rectangular shaped top with rounded corners to the front and shaped sides and there is a drawer to one end with fitted dividers. The top rotates on the base and folds over to create a larger surface top. The tea table is raised on four square legs. A good, neat example.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top and legs. There is repair to the middle of the table. The drawers and hinges are running smoothly with a working leg which supports the extended table. There have been historical repairs made  to the wood around a hinge on the table top, however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the piece. The tea table is structurally solid and sound. Overall, a charming example of an antique Georgian mahogany fold over tea table.
