An attractive early 20th century antique carved oak monks bench. The antique oak monks bench has a circular shaped backrest with decorative carved detail, which also flips over and rests on the arms to create a table top. The carved oak monks bench has a solid rectangular shaped seat that becomes a useful under tier shelf when transformed into a table. The antique oak monks bench is raised on four barley twist legs with straight stretcher supports. Attractive grain and carved detailing throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the seat and base (pictured), further fading to the table top. There are also marks and scratches to the backrest (pictured). The antique oak monks bench remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example of its kind.
