An early 20th century antique American rocking chair. The antique rocking chair has a newly reupholstered backrest, armrests and seat in a burgundy and cream plaid pattern. The American rocking chair has turned upright supports, with ski rockers and springs. Raised on a shaped base with two castors to the front. A rather pleasing example of an antique rocking chair.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related fading to the base and armrests (pictured). There are also minor scratches and dents to the base. The fabric upholstery is in good, clean condition as it has recently been reupholstered. The antique rocking chair remains structurally solid and sound, with the rocking mechanism working well. Overall, a clean example of its kind.
