In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top surface and front (pictured). The antique oak mule chest remains structurally solid and sound although a couple of later wooden braces have been added to the base inside (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm in places, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.
