In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and staining to the top surface, front, and sides (pictured). There are losses in places and some honest, historic repairs. The coffer remains structurally sound and retains its original hinges. There is evidence of old historic woodworm – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Overall, a good, decorative example.
