An impressive antique Welsh oak chest of drawers. The oak chest of drawers has an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with two wooden knobs. The drawers are lined with newspapers dated 20th January 1855. The oak chest of drawers has decorative reeded corners and is raised on decorative bracket feet.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the top, front and bottom. There is splitting to the top, however, this does affect the overall integrity of the product. The top left drawer isn’t lined with newspaper like the others but instead has a blue paper interior. Overall, the oak chest of drawers are structurally solid and sound. A wonderful example of its kind.
