Antique Victorian Oak Pedestal Desk

A charming antique Victorian oak pedestal desk. The pedestal desk has a rectangular moulded top, inset with a green leather top. The desk has three crossbanded frieze drawers below the top, each with brass drop handles and one of which, having dividers. The oak desk is raised on twin pedestals with an arrangement of eight graduating drawers. Raised on a plinth base with castors. A lovely example.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is staining to the top (pictured) as well as some damage to the leather (pictured). There is some splitting to the side (pictured), however, the oak pedestal desk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, the antique Victorian oak pedestal desk remains in good antique condition.
