Antique Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Desk

An attractive antique walnut pedestal desk. The antique pedestal desk has a rectangular top with an olive green leather inset writing surface to the centre and three frieze drawers below. The antique pedestal desk top is raised on twin pedestals either side of the kneehole, forming an arrangement of six graduating drawers, each with wooden knobs. Raised on a plinth base with castors.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks throughout the pedestal desk. There is some splitting to the surface top (pictured) as well as some loss to the corners (pictured). There is also some staining to the top (pictured). Overall, the antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk is in great antique condition. A wonderful example.
