Antique Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Desk

The antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk has a rectangular shaped top with a green leather inset. Below is an arrangement of nine drawers around the central kneehole below, each fitted with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The pedestal desk is raised on a plinth base with castors. Beautiful colour and chamfered detailing to the front. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. There is splitting to the sides (pictured) as well as staining to the surface top (pictured), however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the pedestal desk.
