A good quality antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. The chest is fitted with two short drawers over three graduating long drawers, each retaining turned wooden knob handles and simple cockbeaded drawer fronts. The mahogany has developed a lovely warm tone and mellow patina throughout. Raised on turned bun feet, the chest offers generous storage whilst maintaining a neat and elegant appearance suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors. A solid and honest Victorian chest of drawers with excellent everyday practicality.

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use commensurate with age. There is surface wear including age-related marks, scratches and scuffs throughout, with noticeable scratches and wear to the top surface. There are minor losses to sections of the cockbeaded drawer edges, along with veneer losses to the back edges and a historic repair to the back left corner. The drawers run smoothly and the chest remains structurally solid and sound overall, with a lovely aged colour and character.
