Antique Small Rustic Wooden Pine Bench

A small antique rustic pine bench, constructed from thick solid boards with simple through-tenon and pegged joins visible to the top. The seat is formed from a single wide plank with naturally worn edges. The legs are shaped in a splayed form with angled cut-outs and are fixed directly into the underside of the top, typical of vernacular workshop or farmhouse seating. The pine has a weathered surface, honest utilitarian character.
