An attractive 20th century antique mahogany pedestal desk, in the Georgian style. The antique pedestal desk has a rectangular top with a leather inset writing surface to the centre and three frieze drawers below with working locks and key. The antique pedestal desk top is raised on twin pedestals either side of the kneehole, forming an arrangement of five drawers, each with brass drop handles. A rather pleasing example, with a rich colour and grain throughout. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the sides and back (pictured). The leather has minor marks and scratches (pictured), however remains intact with no apparent tears. The mahogany pedestal writing desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well.Overall, a lovely reproduction.
