An attractive antique walnut pedestal desk. The desk features a rectangular top with a green leather inset writing surface in the centre, complemented by three frieze drawers below. The middle drawer is fitted with a working lock and key. The desk is supported by twin pedestals on either side of the kneehole, each with six graduating drawers, all fitted with brass drop handles. The piece is raised on turned feet, adding to its elegant design.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There are surface marks and scratches in various areas, consistent with the piece’s age and use. The leather inset on the writing surface shows signs of bubbling, which is typical of age-related wear, but does not affect its functionality. The top of the desk has some fading and additional marks, all of which are pictured. Despite these imperfections, the desk remains structurally sound and retains its vintage charm, making it a practical and attractive addition to any space. All imperfections are clearly shown in the photos.
