An antique Victorian large pine dresser top shelving unit, featuring three fixed shelves with hanging hooks set along the front edges. The piece is constructed with a broad plank back and retains attractive simple country proportions throughout. The shelves and side supports are finished with reeded detail to the front edges, complemented by turned central supports and a raised cornice above. The unit stands on shaped outswept feet and displays a warm natural colour, recently finished with a coat of natural wax enhancing the character and grain of the timber.
