Antique Inlaid Edwardian mahogany lady’s Writing Desk

An elegant Edwardian ladies writing desk, constructed in rich mahogany with delicate inlaid detailing throughout. The desk features a refined shaped top with a small drawers and gallery, above a central kneehole, all supported on slender tapered legs terminating in castors, giving it a light and graceful appearance. The drawers run smoothly and retain their original period handles. The top is fitted with a later leather writing surface, framed by crossbanded and inlaid decoration. A particularly attractive and well-proportioned piece, ideally suited for use as a writing desk, dressing table or occasional desk.
