A well-proportioned Georgian oak chest of drawers, featuring a moulded top above an arrangement of two short drawers over three long graduated drawers. Raised on shaped bracket feet, the chest features turned wooden knobs and simple country character. The oak displays particularly attractive grain patterns throughout with a rich warm colour and good patina. A practical and decorative antique chest of compact proportions, well suited to a range of interiors.

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use consistent with its period. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor fading. There is age-related shrinkage to the planks to the top and sides, however the piece is structurally solid and sound with all drawers running smoothly. There is minor loss to the front left foot, but this does not detract from the overall appeal of the piece. Overall with a particularly pleasing colour throughout.
