This Georgian settle is made from solid light oak with a panelled backrest, turned front legs, and a sturdy construction. The backrest consists of six vertical recessed panels within a simple frame. The open arms are supported by turned baluster-style uprights, and the armrests extend straight out. The back legs are slightly raked for stability, while the wide, flat seat provides ample space. The wood has a naturally aged patina, highlighting the grain. This is a practical, well-built piece suited for a range of interiors, including hallways and entryways.
