A well-proportioned antique George IV mahogany chest of drawers, featuring two short drawers over three graduated drawers. Each drawer is fitted with original oval brass handles and inlaid escutcheons. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet beneath a neatly shaped apron. The warm-toned mahogany displays consistent colour and precise inlay work on the drawers and top. Solid and functional, it combines classic period style with generous drawer depth.

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age, including surface wear, age-related marks, and scratches. The top shows staining, scratches, splitting, and some loss. There is also minor loss to the edges of the piece and drawers. Despite these issues, the chest remains a solid and functional example of its period.
