Antique George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A handsome mahogany chest of drawers with a moulded cornice top and inlay detail. The chest includes two short drawers above three graduated long drawers, all fitted with brass drop handles and escutcheons. It is raised on sturdy bracket feet. The mahogany has a rich colour and a great patina throughout, highlighting its craftsmanship and age. A functional and well-made piece.

In good antique condition throughout, with some signs of age that enhance its character. The piece shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. There is some loss to the top (pictured), along with repairs to the surface top and feet. The sides have marks and staining, which are also shown in the photos.
