Antique Edwardian Mahogany Windsor Armchair

An Edwardian mahogany Windsor armchair with a well proportioned, elegant form. The chair features a shaped top rail above a splatted back, centered by a pierced and shaped splat. The arms are gently curved and well shaped, supported on turned uprights.

The chair stands on turned legs united by a stretcher. The seat is traditionally upholstered in a deep red fabric, which sits comfortably with the rich tone of the mahogany. A good example of Edwardian furniture.
