Antique Early 19th Century North Wales Dresser

A beautiful antique early 19th century North Wales dresser. The Welsh oak dresser has an open rack back with three fitted shelves, flanked by two single door cupboards with two small fitted shelves. The cupboard doors have fielded panels and a decorative turned spindle gallery detail. The dresser base has three fitted drawers each with brass knobs above three dummy drawers, flanked by two single door cupboards, that open to reveal a single shelved interior. The Welsh oak dresser separates into two parts at the mid section for ease of transport and movement. A Welsh oak dresser with plenty of charm and character throughout. This early 19th-century North Welsh oak dresser has a well-developed patina and a rich, warm colour throughout.

This piece is in good antique condition with signs of age and use throughout. There is surface wear, including marks and scratches, consistent with its age. The top surface shows splitting, and the interior of the bottom cupboard has some fading. Additionally, there is some loss to part of the cupboard and one side of the dresser. ALl of the drawers are running smoothly.
