A beautiful Victorian antique carved oak throne armchair. The antique throne armchair has a carved backrest with a floral patterned upholstered splat and barley twist supports. The Victorian carved oak armchair has scrolled open arms with a matching drop-in upholstered seat, raised on barley twist turned forelegs with straight stretcher supports. The carved oak armchair has recently been professionally reupholstered. A rather pleasing example, with lovely colour and detailing throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the oak frame in places (pictured). There is also minor evidence of historic woodworm (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique carved oak throne armchair remains structurally solid and sound, with the upholstery in excellent condition. Overall, a good example of a Victorian throne armchair.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

Delivery Information

  • You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.
  • Our delivery service is based on delivery to the property entrance. If you have additional requirements, please contact us.
    We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
