A rather attractive Victorian antique carved oak pedestal writing desk. The antique writing desk has a rectangular shaped oak top with an arrangement of nine drawers around the central kneehole below, each fitted with its original decorative drop handles. The Victorian oak desk is raised on a plinth base with castors. Beautiful colour and dragon carved detailing throughout. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, shrinkage, splits and fading to the top (pictured), further marks, scratches and shrinkage splits to the pedestals (pictured). There are stains to the interior drawers (pictured), also minor chips/dents to the front, however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique oak pedestal writing desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. Overall, an impressive Victorian carved oak desk.
