Antique Carved Oak Cupboard

A heavily carved 18th century antique oak cupboard, of narrow proportions and dated ‘1719’. The antique oak cupboard has a moulded cornice to the top, with a single door cupboard, which opens to reveal an adjustable shelved interior. To the base of the antique oak cupboard is a door that opens to reveal an interior with a single shelf. Raised on four shaped feet, and complete with working lock and key. A particularly pleasing example, with beautiful carved details throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and shrinkage to the front (pictured), also minor losses to the bottom left edge (pictured). There is evidence of historical woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak cupboard remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example of a carved antique.
